I have always loved a holiday chat and collecting people’s holiday recommendations & experiences for future use. I have long lists of places I want to go to next, hotels that I am desperate to stay at, beaches that I need to visit. I get so excited discussing ideas and itineraries.
I always come back from a holiday with the next one booked and absolutely love the planning involved with creating a perfect holiday. I also love sharing recommendations and love it when I hear that it has worked out well.
So, after 20 years of working as a Chartered Accountant in London and Dubai, and literally counting down the days until our holidays, I decided to take the plunge and leave the Corporate World and dive into the Travel Business. Putting my passion for travel to good work to help others create unforgettable holidays.
I recognise that everyone’s holiday needs are different and need to be tailored appropriately. There are clearly also different holidays for different occasions and times in our lives. In my younger years I travelled distant shores with my backpack, I then married an Italian and our busy working lives meant we wanted to squeeze as much as we could into our short breaks. And now as a mum of two teenagers I recognise that what suited us when they were toddlers would perhaps not get our vote now that they are teenagers!
Seville. Love the architecture, particularly the Moorish style Alcazar. Enjoy the buzz of the city and how every bar and restaurant is spilling out onto the many squares. Life all seems to be outside.
Thailand. Love a beach and Thailand has so many gorgeous ones. My perfect day is a trip on a longtail boat to different beaches and snorkelling off the boat. It also has my favourite food and the people are so friendly.
I enjoy any sport, but particularly love the sort of activities you can do on holiday! So golf, skiing and snorkelling are probably my faves.
Sugar Beach, Flic en Flac, Mauritius . It combines a plantation style resort with a stunning beach to create the perfect relaxed holiday vibe.
The Maldives. We love swimming in the sea, so the incredible snorkelling is our perfect family activity together. The great thing is that there are hundreds of islands - so may just need to keep going back to check them all out!
Let me understand what you are seeking from your holiday, what you enjoy, what you love (and hate!), so we can make sure that we plan and book the holiday that best suits you.
